Ballerina
Megan took some cute pictures of Taylor yesterday. She was practicing her ballet moves. We hope to start her in classes when she turns 3.

Happy Valentine's Day
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! 
Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheese for Grandma Ju Ju's birthday party. Taylor's light just lit up everytime she got on a ride or won tickets. It was so cute. She absolutely loved the Merry Go Round and would have spent the entire time there. Aiden loved playing the games and ended up getting a small baseball bat and ball with his tickets.
On Sunday Aiden did an amazing job on his talk in Primary. His talk was all about Jesus. He started to get a little nervous but Dad was in th back row smiling the whole time which made him so happy.
After church the kids got their valentines. Dad rang the doorbell and kids were able to pick up their bags at the front door. They got pencil kits, socks, toys and some candy. Later in the evening they got two more valentines, one from Nana, Papa and Sam. The other from someone else. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a great day.

The kids had a great valentines weekend. Friday night some of the cousins went and saw The Princess and the Frog. Both Aiden and Taylor loved watching this movie.

JAZZ GAME!!
We had the opportunity to attend the Jazz vs. Lakers game this week. My mom has season tickets and no one else was in town to go. Aiden and Thad have gone to a game or two and absolutely loved it. Aiden wants to be a Jazz player. He is practicing on dribbling the ball.
The first quarter was tough on Taylor. She covered her ears the entire time. Ever since she had her tonsils out loud noises really bother her. The second quarter we wondered the halls until we found a snow cone. The noise no longer bother her. Her favorite part was seeing the Bear.The third quarter got to be a little too much for Taylor and we ran, danced and skipped around the arena. She refused to hold my hand and almost ran into many people, but she had fun.
Aiden asked by buying this shirt if it meant that he was now on the Jazz team. I told him he had to practice really hard to play for the Jazz. He is already practicing and has worn this shirt to school the last 2 days in a row. 
Aiden and Taylor really wanted Jazz shirts. Aiden got Millsap's jersey and Taylor picked out a pink T-shirt of Williams.

Pictures
Here are some random photos that I found today! Aiden after going to Disneyland and getting his Jedi costume. This was about 1 year ago.
This is my favorite picture of Taylor. She is covered in mud after playing with cousins at Aunt Heathers. She was only a year old, now she is almost three.

I need help planning the baby's room. Thad and I have decided not to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. Since we already have a boy and girl we don't need to worry about the clothes. Also, finding out the sex of the baby when the baby is born seems to make it more exciting now.
The problem is the nursery. I am struggling to find bedding that is neutral but still very cute. I have three possibilities shown and need advice of what everyone thinks. We have a white crib and a white glider with light green cushions. We took the cushion to USA Baby and it looks like the green in the chair will match all three baby bedding's.
I am not a huge fan of Dr. Seuss but I like the polka dots and the alphabet.

I really like this one, but is it too boy? It is hard to tell on this picture but it does have red in some of the circles.

Christmas Day
It was so difficult to get the kids to sleep on Christmas Eve. However Christmas morning they did not want to wake up. Thad and I were both awake before the kids. Taylor was asleep in our bed with us, so I tried to wake her up and ask her if she wanted to go see what Santa brought her. We just received a grumpy noise in return.
Once we finally woke up both kids and got them down stairs, Aiden and Taylor had an amazing Christmas. Santa brought Taylor the cutest kitchen set. She spends hours making cookies and cakes for us. Aiden received roller blades and a new bike. I ended up spending a good couple of hours pulling Aiden on his roller blades. He is really getting better. This summer I would not be surprised if he is flying all around the neighborhood.
After our family Christmas we did the rounds to both my moms and Thad's parents. The kids were spoiled like usually. However, I was included in this as well. My mom got me a treadmill. I have been wanting one for years. Now don't ask how many times I have used it, but I have been sick and really tired.
Cord and Judy purchased an old Singer sewing machine for me. It was from the early 1900s. I really want to try sewing on it to see how it works. I am still in the process of setting up my craft room, but I expect to have it on display soon.

We usually host an annual Christmas Eve Party for our siblings and parents. We have dinner, games and a special visitor. This year was especially fun for us as Santa was making a special announcement.
Santa takes a break from his very busy schedule of delivering presents to all the good boys and girls of the world. He presents each child with a small gift and personally wishes them a "Merry Christmas!" This year each child received pajamas. It was perfect!!
Aiden absolutely loved seeing Santa. We missed Santa at the mall this year and he told Santa the wrong present at his Challenger program so this was his chance to change what he wanted for Christmas. Taylor was scared to death. I had to sit on the couch next to Santa holding a crying Taylor just to get any picture, but she loved her pajamas as soon as he left. All of the other kids had a great time as well. Brody screamed with delight. It was the cutest thing ever.
Just before Santa was to get back to his busy night, he remembered he had one more present and asked Aiden and Taylor to open the present for their baby brother or sister. This was the first time telling most of the family that we were expecting. It was a lot of fun to have the entire family together to make this announcement.
Quite a few people had already guessed that we were expecting as I have been so sick for the last three months. Oh well! They at least let me pretend that they did not know.
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! I love having the families get together and just enjoy being around each other.
